I Stand by Israel – Wait, WHAT?!

Have you ever wondered where your level of love and pride for Israel came from? Well, ta-da! This is how it happens!

Quietly, Sneakily and, Unknowingly.

If the projects and discussions you constantly have are on topics like this, it’s no wonder how half of the states worships Israel. Brainwashing had been done from the very beginning and at a pretty young age.
…No, you’re right. There’s certainly no wrong in talking about issues like such, but is it not wrong to be teaching your kids to accept and support a war that is coming to be? A war where more than our little brains could count the number of casualties for sure?

In short, it’s Iraq all over again. You destroy the whole land just to come up with the statements of “oops, the weapons weren’t there. We made a mistake.”

Enough is enough. Hundreds of our soldiers were killed. Thousands of civilians were massacred.
Mothers left childless, wives left with broken hearts, and children, left with only a memory of what they once called a father.

What gave you the license to kill, America?

Stop preaching lies.

The Nativity

The supposed birth day of Jesus Christ, is simply around the corner. It’s only 19 days short before Christmas.

Having had that said, here’s what I want you to do. I assume that the most of you, would know the story of Mary and Joseph, yes? Well, let’s try incorporating it to the world today.

If Mary and Joseph had set off from Nazareth to Bethlehem in current times, they would be forced to go through 11Israeli Checkpoints, security checks, and a 30 foot concrete barricade wall.

Chances are, like many other heavily pregnant women, Mary wouldn’t have been able to go through. Joseph would have most probably been shot…and Jesus? He would have simply not come to be or he would have been an Israeli Checkpoint baby.

A not so detailed map, just to give you a wild idea.

Nuclear Transparency – Guess what Israel said

Israel, the ones who had gone on and on about Iran’s nuclear.

Israel, the ones who had said nothing much about their own nuclear weaponry.

Israel, the ones who claim their nuclear weapons of mass destruction are used to defend themselves.

Israel, the only possessor of nuclear weapons in the Middle East.

Israel, the ones who are widely known to have 200 and 400 nuclear warheads.

After it’s lost at going against the establishment of a Palestinian state, of which they only had 8 others standing by them, the Israeli regime has been quoted to have said that the United Nations’ vote was nothing but a “meaningless mechanical one” and claims that the world body “has lost its credibility regarding Israel“.

The harsh reaction from Tel Aviv had came after the UN General Assembly had urged Israel to quickly open its nuclear program for inspection and to join the Non-Proliferation Treaty, “without further delay

The call for nuclear transparency by the UN had came shortly after the United States had decided to cancel a conference on making the Middle East free, of nuclear weapons.

That very major event was reportedly cancelled due to the worries of the US that its darling little brother, Israel, would come under fire as the only possessor of nuclear weapons in the Middle East.

Let’s watch and see how they’d weave their selves out of this.

TWA Flight 840

This is no new or current news, it’s simply just a story I felt was necessary to have it shared.
…and off we go.

29th August 1969 – A Trans World Airlines flight from Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport in Rome, Italy, to Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, was hijacked. TWA Flight 840, was the said affected flight.

Those who had lived in that era, would have remembered just how big of a deal it had been. It was the first time a plane was hijacked, by a woman. A woman, named Leila Khaled.

It isn’t something to be proud about, but the story behind it holds high power and meaning.

Leila Khaled, the convicted flight hijacker and her team had diverted Boeing 707 to Damascus, where then, Khaled had forced the pilot to fly over Haifa, Palestine, just so she could see her birthplace. The place she was no longer allowed to step foot on.

Though her doings were wrong, taking her rights away, was even worse.

In my eyes, she hadn’t been a monster. But instead, she had been a hero.

She fought to do something, while others sat and mourned.

She stood up, when all the rest of the world wanted to do, was fall.

Note: No one had been critically injured, besides a bruise or two, I would say.

On the 4th of December, Tuesday, Khaled had entered Gaza for the first time. Senior PFLP leader Kayid al-Ghoul said Khaled will take part in the anniversary celebrations for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestinian, (and will be briefed on the damage caused by Israel’s recent eight-day assault on the coastal enclave.)

Her dream to return, had finally came true. Though it may not be in Haifa itself, (since Haifa is now considered a part of Israel) but it’s certainly close enough.

Dreams do come true, though, only for those who work for it.
